Casper Planetarium

This is the ideal place to discover and explore if you and your family are fascinated with the moon and the stars. The Casper Planetarium opened it's doors in 1966 sporting a state of the art Spitz star machine and seating for 71, the only one of it's kind. Gradually images, music and video were added to planetarium programs to become one of the largest. The Casper Planetarium is inexpensive to visit and offers the most exciting opportunity to discover adventure for families and couples alike.

National Historic Interpretive Trails Center

Learn more about the pioneers of the past at the National Historic Interpretive Trails Center. During your visit you'll learn about the history of various trails in Western history, including the Oregon, California, Mormon and Pony Express Trails. The exhibits give you a glimpse of life from 1841 through 1868 as 1/2 a million pioneers made their way out west.

Conveniently located 2.5 miles from Quality Inn & Suites, Casper College is a premier, public, comprehensive two-year institution with a primary focus on student success. Casper College is one of the largest and most comprehensive community colleges in the region. It has a well-deserved reputation for its academic and technical programs. It overlooks the city from the foothills of Casper Mountain.

Explore central Wyoming’s regional history museum, featuring exhibits on prehistoric peoples, Plains Indians, ranching, the energy industry, and the City of Casper as well as the western emigrant trails and frontier army.

Three Crowns Golf Club

Spend a day out on the course refining your game. Three Crowns Golf is a par 72 course and was designed by legendary golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. It is the perfect course for the expert and beginner golfer. You'll enjoy spectacular views of Casper Mountain, dining, and beverage services.

Mike Lansing Field

Enjoy a day at the ballpark and get a change to see future baseball stars. Located 1 block from the Quality Inn & Suites Casper, Mike Lansing Field is home to the Casper Ghosts Minor League Baseball Team. This park is named after one of the Colorodo Rockies' former players and is where many of their players get their start. The field also hosts Casper's American Legion teams.
